A medical mentorship program could be the perfect place to start. Through these programs, you can seek advice from academics and professionals already in the world of medicine who are willing to provide their knowledge and support to aspiring students looking for guidance.
The Pipeline Mentoring Institute (PMI) of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA) invites all middle school and high school students, and college Pre-Health students from underrepresented backgrounds such as Black/African American, Native American, and/or Hispanic/Latino students on this FREE exploration into the world of medical mentorships.
Applications are due Friday, December 23rd, 2022.Feel free to share this opportunity with other middle school, high school, and college
students, as well as parents, teachers, and school advisors and counselors.

space or gain experience through research opportunities, customizing your own unique
journey is an important part of steering your future career’s trajectory towards success.
